"I stayed at the Grand March 2 - 9, 2009 - I have stayed at this hotel before when it was the Hyatt - it is just as good now as then - the location is excellent and so are the rooms - service is very good - I have to give this hotel 4stars for Acapulco - it is difficult to find a truly good hotel in Acapulco as many are older and not maintained - the Grand is maintained well - my recommendation is to try to get a suite on the flat-frontal-part of the hotel - if you have the budget it is one of the best rooms in Acapulco called the Regency Suite - the downside is the food/restaurantes - breakfast buffet is good - but the rest." — source Travelocity
