About 300 years ago travelers stopped at the Bears Inn coming from Berne and Lucerne to find a place for the night, to get a warm meal and oats for the horses. The hospitality was carried on and the Zurschmiede Family in its 5th generation is proud to welcome you. If you wish to learn more about the Baerens tradition, ask for Gabi and Fritz, your hosts. Worth while is also a visit to the Coffee Stuebli opposite the hotel. A large collection of Bears is shown in the Old Baeren House built in the 15th century. The 50 comfortable rooms with shower or bath and WC, are all tastefully decorated and come with cable TV, radio, phone, mini bar, and overlooking the mountains. Some rooms come with balcony. Cancellation Policy

-72 hours, Cancellation with less then 3 days before arrival date will be charged with one night for room only. No-show will be charged minimum 1 night for stays between 1-3 nights, for longer stays then 3 nights we will charge 2 nights. Breakfast and taxes are included in the rates.
