Designed by the Adolfo Natalini, the 15-story Hilton Florence Metropole is about three miles from the city center and approximately seven miles from Florence Vespucci Airport. This location is also three miles from the Santa Maria Novella station and 44 miles from Pisa. Hotel amenities include the restaurant, bar, and complimentary buffet breakfast. The hotel also offers room service, concierge assistance, meeting and conference rooms, business center, secretarial services, a technology help desk, free parking, 24-hour front desk service, free weekday newspapers, and free hourly shuttle service to Santa Maria Novella station. All rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minibars, high-speed Internet access, voicemail, air-conditioning, safes, and marble bathrooms with complimentary toiletries, hairdryers, telephones, slippers, and bidets.

From Florence Vespucci Airport (FLR): Distance to Hilton Florence Metropole is 10 kilometres, approximately 5 minutes' drive. Getting there. Taxis into the city centre cost approximately 15 EUR 16 EUR, and the journey time is 15 minutes. An airport bus departs for Florence's Santa Maria Novella Station every 30 minutes. Single tickets cost 6 EUR. Terravision coaches travel to central Florence and Pisa Airport. Tickets cost 12 EUR and the price includes a one day pass for Florence's city buses. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. The hotel is on Via del Cavallaccio, four kilometres from the city centre. Central Florence is compact and easily explored on foot. There are traffic restrictions in the city centre and parking is expensive. Bright orange buses operate throughout the city centre. Tickets are available at vending machines or from tobacconists. Tickets are sold based on length of time and are available for one, two or 24 hours. There is a taxi rank in front of Santa Maria Novella Station. Driving directions. From Florence Vespucci Airport: Go straight ahead at the traffic lights and up the first ramp on the right (Viadotto dell'Indiano). Cross the bridge and follow the road all the way to the end, for approximately one kilometre. Turn left and follow the road right round. At the end, turn immediately down the first right. The hotel is close to the Warner Village Cinema.
