    "Our room was very poor for the following reasons 1) the air conditioning did not work and the room was hot, so two fans were supplied, we were told that the hotel was full and they could not move us 2) there was no bath robes as advertised 3) bathtub was dirty 4) there was no safe in the room as advertsed 4) there was not place to hang your clothes 5) the room was on the sixth floor but elevators only went to the fifth floor 6) we gave a list of the problems to the manager and was told." source Travelocity

The hotel also has a bar, which serves light snacks throughout the day and is renowned for having the largest selection of single malt whiskys in the country! Conference facilities are also available. This hotel has a rich history and a certain grandeur.This hotel comes very highly recommended indeed. (BL 05/06) The hotel is a large, traditional six-storey building, situated along the roadside. Arguably Dublin's best-known hotel, it is situated in the heart of the city, on O'Connel Street. Temple Bar is less than a ten minute walk across the river, teeming with a variety of lively bars and restaurants,making this a prime central location.
