The B&B 'Porta a mari' in Oristano is situated in one of the most important streets of the town, about 5 minutes walk of the historical centre.It's very easy to arrive to the B&B: via Cagliari covers Oristano for all its extension from the income north to that south.From the B&B it's easy to get to the museum and to all the monuments of the town.Central position of our B&B allows you to reach very easily all the wonderful beaches of the coast and the typical villages around the city of Oristano: the Phoenician and Roman city of Tharros, the archaeological sites of the nuragic age, the beautiful and uncontaminated beaches like San Giovanni and Is Aruttas, whose beach is formed by sand of little grains of granite, like an extension of rice. In the Sinis you will find the naturalistic reserve �Turr' e Seu�, managed from WWF.Everybody will be able to go there thanks to the public transport system (bus stops are just round the corner).All the rooms of the B&B are at the first floor of a house of the first years of 19� century, constructed at the typical way of the Campidano, using adobe bricks, called 'ladiri', in Sardinia's language.The guests are welcome to use the living room and the terrace, where everybody can stay during the beautiful days of springtime and summer.All rooms are with typical ancient furniture.PLEASE NOTE!We don�t have 24-hour-reception: please give us sufficient notice and advise about your arrival time, so that we can arrange for your check-in.Payment: Cash only.

Follow via Cagliari until the first roundabout near Piazza Mannu: the B&B is close to the roundabout, next to a tobacconist�s shop. * Take the exit toward Fenosu from the motorway S.S. 131. Continue till the first traffic light then turn left at Via Ricovero, continue straight onto Piazza Mariano, Via Solferino; at the roundabout take the second exit onto Via Solferino. At the second roundabout turn left at Via Cagliari: the B&B is close to the roundabout, next to a tobacconist�s shop.* Take the exit toward Sil� from the motorway S.S. 131. Continue straight, leaving the village at your left, at Via Ricovero; then continue straight onto Piazza Mariano, Via Solferino; at the roundabout take the second exit onto Via Solferino. Then turn left continue the entry of Oristano. Continue straight onto Via Cagliari: you will find a roundabout; go straight till the second roundabout and then stop the B&B is close to the roundabout, next to a tobacconist�s shop. * From north (Alghero - Bosa) coastline road. After the villages on the S.S. 292 (Riola, Nurachi, Donigala) stay on S.S. 292 till the entry of Oristano. Continue straight onto Via Cagliari: you will find a roundabout; go straight till the second roundabout and then stop the B&B is close to the roundabout, next to a tobacconist�s shop.GETTING BY BUSARST and Logudoro Tours buses stop at the main bus station, that is very close to the B&B. From the station exit on Via Cagliari, turn left and continue straight onto Via Cagliari for 200 mt.: you will find a roundabout and then stop the B&B is close to the roundabout, next to a tobacconist�s shop.GETTING BY TRAINThe shortest way (1,2 km see map) to arrive to the B&B from the train station Ferrovie dello stato is this one: from Piazza Ungheria take via Vittorio Veneto untill the first cross: turn left at Via Sassari, then slight left at Via Othoca and turn right to stay on Via Othoca. At the roundabout take the second exit onto Via Solferino.
