  • Overall: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"would rather have great hotel price and have MORE to spend with entertainment and of course gambling BEST BED IN THE WORLD." source Orbitz

"I would recommend this hotel to anyone." source Skoosh

"We will stay there again." source Hotels.com

"Overall our trip was great, we had family meet us there and it was a great time to get everyone together." source Travelocity

"We highly recommend the Tropicana to anyone who wants to experience a classic Vegas hotel with all the amenities you would want at a great price. We will definitely stay there again in the near future." source Travelocity

  • Clean: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"I took pictures of this filth and the lady at the desk acted like she had heard it all before and her excuse was well this hotel is older and I told her that my home is over 100 years old but I know how to keep it clean." source Skoosh

"Everything was good, the view, the room except the bathroom which was not clean." source Hotels.com

"I had a pleasant stay at tropicana, I knew what to expect though, the rooms were neat enough, and casino was good as well." source Travelocity

"The hotel is on the strip, is a good location but the carpet of the hotel smells really bad, the rooms are good and clean, I recomend this hotel if you go for pleasure, not recomended for honey moon." source Expedia

"The room was not clean, it was outdated and the bathtub was scary." source Skoosh

  • Service: Rating of 3.5 out of 5

"i wasnt comfortable with and in the hotel, the customer service was horrible and we didnt have electricity." source Hotels.com

"Friendly helpful staff and a GREAT location." source Travelocity

""The staff and room service were more than accommodating"." source Expedia

"This hotel provided some the best service, I bought a package deal and when I arrived at the hotel to check in, the guy at the counter upgraded our room to a jacuzzi sweet at no charge, and the 2 nights we stayed there, the customer service was just incredible." source Travelocity

"While checking in I was told of a service charge of $* per day for use of the fittness center and other things the hotel had to offer. When I tried to decline the use of these services the Front Desk said I had to pay for them - that it was not an OPTION." source Travelocity

  • Location: Rating of 4.4 out of 5

"GREAT VACATION, good location, awesome pool, MAGIC SHOW WAS GOOD, NOISY IN THE MORNING, BUT GOOD DEAL FOR THE PRICE." source Orbitz

"We enjoyed the Tropicana Hotel stay due to the location, smaller casino, and the Cafe Restaurant food was very good. To walk the grounds is a plus and even tho the outdoor pool was not open, you could still use the patio area, etc." source Travelocity

"Although it is older compared to others in the area, the services and staff have been excellent during my stays. The location, near the newer hotels allows you to enjoy Las Vegas, while on a budget." source Travelocity

"a/c very poor, old hotel need some money investments, location good, right on strip, elevators too old,for the money is ok,but a/c too poor, need to have all inclusive ,life is too expensive there." source Travelocity

"The location is great. Its a decent place to crash and take a shower before you hit the strip, but its outdated compared to the other hotels in the same area." source Travelocity

  • Value: Rating of 3.6 out of 5

"We booked a garden room with a patio, and once we got there we decided to upgrade to the towers which were a lot better, the garden rooms are out of date and kinda scary, if you dont plan to spend much time in your room, then its probably an ok deal, but we wanted a fridge and the tower rooms are the only rooms that have that." source Travelocity

"However, the rooms are very clean and a great value when compared to the newer mega-casino resorts. In fact, it's probably the best value on the Strip -- very strategically located." source Travelocity

"Also, when something of great value ours was left at a sunglass booth, it was returned by security within 3 days, and the person working at the booth was fired and procescuted for taking it." source Travelocity

"Nice Hotel for as old as it is, better than I expected after reading some of the other reviews, needs some updates but you don't spend much time in your room good for the price." source Travelocity

"You get a great location, great shows with 2 for 1's usually and great price. My room was clean, service was great and we actually won more than cost of trip." source Travelocity
