"only criticism: the water glasses in bathroom looked a bit dirty - film at bottom other than that; great hotel and excellent location fish tank is amazing would love to stay again." source Venere

"This is good hotel in nice location but unfortunately we drew a short straw with our room - a very small 'triple' with an outlook over what can be best described as a utility shaft." source Venere

"really fab will deffo stay herwe if visiting amsterdam again will recommend it to every1 before having breakfast i did think 14 euros a bit expensive." source Venere

"Our only negative comment was the overall size and very limited closet space in Room 307, possibly some of the other rooms are more spacious." source Venere

"Only thing, breakfast a bit overpriced but generally OK and no tea/coffee in room, but would highly recommend." source Venere

  • Clean: Rating of 4.7 out of 5

"The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the bath adequate (the cold water did not seem to work, making the shower too hot to use." source Venere

"The Hotel Estherea is everything it claims to be - excellent location, spotlessly clean and very well maintained throughout." source Venere

"The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, and the bathrooms were clean and well equipped." source Venere

"Our room was a triple but it was tiny and overfurnished, still it was clean and comfortable." source Venere

"The room was comfortable, clean with good beds and nicely decorated." source Venere

  • Service: Rating of 4.5 out of 5

"Change of rooms was no problem and the next one was good, but the friendly staff, knowing about the this, should have told us in advance." source Venere

"The breakfast was great, and the coffee/tea/cocoa service and cookies in the lobby area was a classy touch." source Venere

"We stayed there in 2004 and again in 2008 and the service and facilities upgrade are even better in 2008." source Venere

"A very nice hotel with friendly staff, One could see that that they had pride in their work." source Venere

  • Location: Rating of 4.7 out of 5

"The hotel is just walking distance from the Centraal Station, Daam Square, red light district, the best coffee shop (amnesia), the best chocolate shop (puccini's) and the center of town for gift shops, restaurants ect." source Venere

"As all the other reviews the tea and coffee station is very welcome and it is very nice to be able to make a drink there and sit back in the lounge area and relax at any time of the day." source Venere

"The location of the Hotel is perfect - close to many good restaurants and within easy walking distance to varioius sites in the city." source Venere

"A lovely hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed staying in the Jordaan area and were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go." source Venere

"We really loved the location of this hotel, close enough to the main areas of interest but on a quiet canal." source Venere

  • Value

"Shame breakfast was not included in price and interior walls are a bit thin." source Venere

"Excelent, best deal ever in amsterdam." source Venere

"It's a great location at a very good price for Amsterdam." source Venere

  • Room: Rating of 3.7 out of 5

"Standard European small hotel room." source Skoosh

"Stay could have been rated 10/10 if there was not an issue with sound insulation of the rooms. We were woken up at 3 am the first night by the guests of the room above us and the second night at 6 am by some children crying and playing very loudly in the room beneath." source Venere
