Welcome to Alla's Historical Bed and Breakfast which is the oldest original all brick home in the town of Duncanville (South-West Dallas County) built by the chief Mason in1927, John C. Pelt.The B&B is within 10 miles of some of Dallas' best restaurants and shops. Duncanville is a small quanta town that is a combination of rural life and modern convinces with the historical charm of the 1920's and 1930's. If you are traveling to Dallas county for pleasure or business, you will find that our Inn offers friendly service, comfort,and privacy.Antique furnished rooms come with comfortable sitting area, a desk, high speed WI-FI wireless internet service for your laptop. By entering the hallway and going to the next entrance, you will find yourself in a very large antique 1920's style kitchen with another dining area for six with a refreshment and snack waiting for you. B&Bs have wised up to the wishes of business travelers while keeping the atmosphere of a small town that most hotels do not have. Within 10 miles of our South-West Dallas B&B are the following attractions:JFK 6th Floor Museum at Dealy Plaza, Dallas World Acquarium, Fair Park, Dallas Museum of Art, West Village (shopping and dinning center), Dallas Symphony Center, American Airlines Center, Majestic Theater, and The Crescent & Mood Spas. Within 15 miles of our lodging is Six Flags Over Texas attractions.In the following morning, you will enjoy hot breakfasts that can be had anywhere with many choices. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, juice, coffee and many American and European specialties.If you have been on the road awhile and need some laundry done, no problem.Within 10 minutes drive of the property are workout gyms, area lakes, and the Cider Ridge Park that has some of the longest and most scenic walking trails that one can find in this state. Nearest major city: Dallas, TX (9 miles S.W. Dallas)Directions to property:FROM DOWNTOWN DALLAS: Take I-35 South to HWY67 South to I-20. Take I-20 West to Main St/ Duncanville Rd. exit. Turn left onto Main St, and go 1/2 mile to Davis St. Turn right onto Davis St. and then go 100 ft to the next street, turn right again on Hustead. The house is the 4th one on the left. You will see the historical marker in the front yard.Nearest major airport: Dallas, TX (DFW-Dallas-Fort Worth) 25 milesDirections from the airport:From DFW airport: go South on highway 360 for about 10 minutes to I-20. Take I-20 East for about 15 minutes to Duncanville. Take the Duncanville Road/Main St. exit and go to the second stop light and turn right on Main St. Drive South for 1/2 mile to Davis St. Turn right on to Davis St, just go 100 feet to the next right, turn right again onto Hustead St. The property is the 4th house on the left.
