The easiest way to get from the airport to the hotel is by hire car or taxi, the latter costing approximately 100 EUR. Getting around. The best way to explore the west coast scenery and the surrounding countryside is by car. Driving directions. From Galway Airport follow the roundabouts into the city centre. Take the N59 west to Clifden, via Moycullen, Oughterard, Maam Cross, and Recess. From Clifden take the Ballyconneely Road (R341) and then take the first right hand turn.
