Enjoy a prime city center location in the heart of Edinburgh's new town at the east end of Prices Street. Designed by architect William Playfair in the 1800's, this beautiful Georgian property is made up of seven traditional town houses, which have been brought together to create a contemporary four-star hotel. Traditional charm, individual character and the very best in personal service offers guests a truly unique experience.107 individual and contemporary designed bedrooms are equipped to ensure the maximum in room comfort and include larger beds, work desks and LCD TVs featuring your own in room entertainment package. The hotel also boasts state of art leisure facilities including pool, sauna and steam room. Unique private terraced gardens to the rear of the hotel offer an oasis of peace and quiet in the heart of a busy city. The stylish Terrace Brasserie restaurant offer outstanding local and seasonal cuisine.The hotel offers concierge, conference facilities, health club, internet access-high speed and wireless (9.95 GBP per 24 hours), pool, restaurant, lounge and room service. Please note this is a smoke free hotel.The Royal Terrace Hotel is having external work done to the front of the hotel, which means we have scaffolding covering the front faade from now until mid June 2009.Workmen will be restoring stone work Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm. We will make every effort to ensure our guests are disrupted as little as possible during their stay.
