Song of the Sea is a romantic Beachfront European style inn located on beautiful Sanibel Island. Directions

From Southwest Florida Regional Airport: Follow the Terminal Access Road out of the airport. Turn right onto Treeline Avenue Extension. Continue on Treeline Avenue for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Daniels Parkway. Drive under the I 75 overpass. Continue straight ahead, crossing US 41 to Summerlin Road. (Daniels Parkway becomes Cypress Lake Drive once you have crossed over U.S. 41). Turn left on Summerlin Road. Continue on Summerlin 10 miles to the Sanibel Causeway (toll fee). Cross the causeway, continue straight ahead to the four way stop at Periwinkle Way. Proceed straight a quarter mile, turn left at the next stop sign. The hotel is the first driveway on the right.

A visit to the Bailey Matthews Shell Museum, the only seashell museum in the U.S., features shells in ecological habitats from Southwest Florida's barrier islands to the Everglades. Amidst the 6,000 acre J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, more than half of the island's area is preserved as a wildlife sanctuary. Throughout the area, there are dozens of places to venture the waterways. Salt and freshwater charters and cruises are also available for anglers and sightseers.
