From Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG): Distance to InterContinental Le Grand Hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 45 minutes' drive. Getting there. RER line B trains run from the airport to central Paris. Line B3 (Roissyrail) departs from Terminal Two and runs to Gare du Nord, which is two kilometres from the hotel. Single tickets cost 7.85 EUR and journey time is about 25 minutes. Roissybus shuttles run from all three terminals to Place de l'Opera. Buses depart every 15 minutes, and single tickets cost about 8 EUR. Air France shuttles stop at the Arc de Triomphe. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. Paris is easy to explore on foot, and there is a reliable, cheap metro (underground), which runs throughout the city and the suburbs. Buses are a great way to see the city's sights. Tickets can be purchased from bus drivers or from the machines in Metro stations. Regional RER trains run to destinations in the surrounding area. Taxis are available in the streets, but can be hard to find at busy times. Advance booking is recommended. Driving directions. Follow signs for Paris centre. Take the peripherique (ring road) towards Paris West, exit at Porte Maillot. Take the Champs Elysees to the Place De La Madeleine. Take Boulevard Des Capucines, then Rue Scribe.
