  • Clean

"Key things to remember -- it's old, but in decent shape Walls are drabbly painted but clean." source Skoosh

  • Location

"I would not recomend this hotel to anyone, from our booking being lost, to the 11/07 dated rodent trap clearly visable in the main reception area , dirty towels in the bathroom and damp in the hallways and the flooding in the dinning area and several other points , including poor staff, expecialy the head porter, who on being informed about the rodent trap shouted (in his usual style ' no worries mate' and carried on ignoring everyone), the entire weekend in London was spoilt." source Skoosh

"County Hotel is a great location for the tube, it's in walking distance to both the Euston (closest, just two blocks away) and King's Cross stops (convenient to Gatwick), probably others too." source Skoosh

"The area is noisy." source Skoosh

  • Room

"The reception was without problems the room in the forth floor with view to the court very quiet -2 beds,we slept well the toilet and bath was just next door." source Skoosh

More information on County Hotel

With bunk beds in some of the rooms and a generally poor standard of accommodation this hotel is really only suitable for those on a very low budget. (0806RPL) It is a red brick building with steps from the pavement up to the heavy wooden entrance. The hotel is situated on a busy road in Bloomsbury just five minutes walk from Euston Station and fifteen minutes from Oxford Street.

Total Rooms:

175

Total Floors:

0

Rooms:

The bedrooms and bathrooms are very small and in poor condition, the bathrooms are shared but there is a basin in each room. Like the lobby, the accommodation at the hotel is very dated, though some of the rooms at the back of the hotel are quite peaceful and offer good views over London's rooftops.

Directions

The County Hotel is perfect for the budget-minded traveller! It is close to three mainline stations, the picturesque Woburn Walk shopping area and just steps from Camden Market.
