THE HOTEL Located in the historic heart of the city of Salamanca, the Hotel abba Fonseca has successfully blended in with the buildings surrounding it. It is a completely new building on the inside, boasting wide-open spacious rooms and areas throughout. And, of course, the building has a stone façade in keeping with the surrounding area. Next to the Colegio de Fonseca and just a short walk from the Plaza Mayor, the hotel has unbeatable views overlooking the cathedral, the old building of the Universidad Pontificia and the Congressional Palace of Salamanca. Light and space play a key role. Upon sunrise, the skyline of the city's monuments can be seen. When the sun sets, it casts a deep golden hue on the stone buildings, so characteristic of Salamanca. At night, the monuments are illuminated, turning the views from the hotel into living postcards which you will be able to treasure in your memory, and leaving you with a vivid image of the places you would like to return to.
