Wildflower Hall in the Himalayas

Situated 8250 feet above sea level, this hotel is located in the Himalayan range and is approximately a 45-minute drive from Shimla Airport. The former residence of Lord Kitchener of Khartoum, this hotel now houses a gymnasium, tennis court, heated indoor pool, hot tub, library (with music, books, and videos), billiard room, and full-service spa with a range of treatments. Hotel services include private butlers, valet laundry and dry cleaning, complimentary fruit and flowers, 24-hour room service, and free mineral water and newspapers. All rooms have marble bathrooms, separate shower stalls, walk-in closets, personal bars, satellite TV, CD players, DVD players, safes, and two-line telephones with dataports. Wildflower Hall is not suitable for children below 12 years of age. The hotel is located in mountainous terrain which could be unsafe for young children.
