The Diamond Princess Hotel is a former cruise ship 'boatel' moored in the fashionable docklands, 500 metres from Antwerp's Old City and Market Square. Previously cabins, the 51 guestrooms are equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, and wireless Internet. Private bathrooms contain showers and provide complimentary toiletries. After a day of exploring Antwerp, guests can relax and take in the view of the city and Antwerp cathedral with a coffee or a cocktail on the Beach Deck on top of the ship or in the Piano Bar. Those guests seeking peace and quiet can head for the Captain's Lounge which is now a library. Parties, meetings and catered events can be organized for up to 500 people. Many of Antwerp's historical sites and attractions are a short distance from the hotel. The city's Old Harbour is 50 metres away and it is a 200 metre walk to the Maritime Museum. Antwerp Airport is a driving time of 10 minutes and a distance of five kilometres.
