The Puerto Palace hotel is situated in a peaceful residential area close to the beach, one kilometer from the center of Puerto de la Cruz. Light and contemporary guestrooms are decorated in soft greens and beiges with patterned pastel fabrics and light wood furniture. Rooms lead out on to balconies with either sea or valley views. Bathrooms have granite style tiles and marble vanity tops with two inset basins. All rooms are equipped with modern amenities such as air conditioning, cable television, direct dial phones, safes and minibars. Guests can opt for the half board rate which includes an international buffet breakfast and dinner. Guests can soak up the sun on the terraces and relax in the sauna and jetted tub. There are a selection of pools including one for the kids, one with a pool bar and waterfall and even one for nudists. A salon and beauty center offers a range revitalizing treatments and services. More active guests can work out at the fitness center, practise their serve on the tennis court or enjoy a game of volleyball. The hotel can also organize meetings, conferences, cocktail parties and banquets for business guests. The Puerto Palace Restaurant offers an international menu in a contemporary setting, large glass doors open onto the terrace where diners can enjoy an alfresco breakfast or dinner. The hotel also offers evening entertainment, such as professional shows and dances. The hotel is surrounded by attractions: Guests are just one kilometer from the center of Puerto de la Cruz; two kilometers from the attractive Loro Parque and botanical gardens; and six kilometers from the typical Canarian village of Orotava. The hotel is 30 kilometers from Tenerife North Airport. Buses leave regularly from the airport to the central bus station in Puerto de la Cruz. Taxis are also available to the hotel.
