More information on Hotel Borg

More of an institution than a mere hotel, this is certainly one of the best hotels in Reykjavik. Opened back in 1930, this hotel has a very high reputation and has been the home of presidents and pop stars ever since. An imposing traditional grey 6 storey building and a very fine piece of architecture and one of the oldest buildings in Reykjavik. Located in Reykjavik's central square across from the Cathedral and House of Parliament, this hotel could not be any more central. With the main shopping street just around the corner, Reykjavik is on your doorstep. Keflavik International Airport is a 45 minute drive.
