The turn of the century Hotel Monte Carlo is set in the historical district of Funchal, with sea and mountain views, 200 metres from the city centre. The 45 simply decorated guestrooms have patterned fabrics and modern furnishings. Directions

From the airport take the highway to Funchal city. Once in Funchal, take Rua 5 de Outubro to the centre of Funchal. Coming down the Rua 5 de Outubro, turn right before the bridge and follow the road to the roundabout. Take the first street on the right before the tunnel. Going up Cal�ada do Pico, just after Cruzes Museum, turn right to Rua dos �lamos, and follow the road along till the hotel.
