The House Hostel invites you to be our guest while you discover Riga.We are located in the center of the cities 'bohemian' district, surrounded by the BEST bars, restaurants, cafes and shops. As an Independent Hostel run by travelers for travelers, we pride ourselves on not just being a backpackers Hostel, But rather being a backpackers home. Our small and homely environment and central location away from the cities many 'Tourist Traps' will allow for you to have a unique and memorable experience while staying with us. Providing our guests a laid back, safe, relaxed atmosphere and helping you make the most of your time in Riga is our #1 priority. Home cooked meals prepared by our 'IN DA HOUSE CHEF', picnics on 'THE BENCH', or cold beers while 'BIRD WATCHING' from our smokers balcony are just a few ways to enjoy yourself while staying with us. WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN YOU MAY ASK?? Well, you gotta GO to know!! :) Though we are always up for a good time and a few too many drinks, we do not consider ourselves a Party Hostel. Our small size and 'intimate' space demand that we respect all of our guests right to a good nights sleep. HOWEVER!!!! After midnight we are MORE than happy to take you out personally for a night on the town,or direct you to one of the many nearby bars or Clubs after having a few cold ones on our couch. We love a big night out, but want to make sure we are considerate of those who may need to catch up on their beauty rest!!
