This is a friendly, privately owned town house hotel set in exclusive leafy surroundings and has a beautifully maintained stylish interior. The hotel offers unsurpassed levels of service with excellent restaurant and bar facilities. It was built in 1890 and remodeled in 2006.

From London Gatwick Airport (LGW): Distance to Mandolay is 24 miles, approximately 40 minutes' drive. Getting there. Trains from Gatwick take one hour to Guildford Station, which is two miles from the hotel. A typical taxi fare from the airport is 65 GBP. Prices are subject to change. Getting around. Guildford is easily accessible by foot. Its train station provides access to central London in 30 minutes. For further exploration of the countryside, a car is recommended. Driving directions. From London Gatwick, take the M25 clockwise. Leave the M25 at junction 10, signposted to Guildford. At the Wisley interchange roundabout, take the third exit, merging onto Portsmouth Road A3, signposted Guildford. Continue on the A3 for 7 miles and leave at London Road A3100. Continue to the hotel at 36 London Road.
