"very nice place; loved the fun atmosphere of the rooms and hallways; awesome staff, always very kind and helpful; nice location (right across the street from the train station); liked the experience overall; would probably stay there again." — source Hostelworld
"Christophers in a private room, everything was very clean, the chillout room was pretty boring, it s in a windowless room, so we just sat down in the bar to get wifi, overall a pretty good hostel, the security is very good." — source Hostelworld
"It is a great place to stay in the center of the city, however, it is not the best for a good night sleep since there is a lot of activity outside the building." — source Hostelworld
"Nice having a bar/restaurant downstairs - could do with lockers for security purposes but was a good place overall." — source Hostelworld
"Only problem is with the swipe cards that keep getting deactivated, otherwise i couldn't recommend it enough." — source Hostelworld

"was at oasis concert and was totally fine for what we required, rooms toilets and all areas clean and tidy, chill out room was good, only complaint about whole stay was the fried eggs are terrible, really bad." — source Hostelworld
"The usual crappy free breakfast, but the downstairs bar is GREAT for a hostel, the location is amazing (right next to the train station), and it was very clean and neat." — source Hostelworld
"Clean spot in close to city but no kitchen, poor internet (wifi only available in bar and PCs expensive) and really not much atmosphere for what you pay." — source Hostelworld
"Was rather annoying that had to go and get our key cards re-activated everyday as they seemed to be de-activated once the room had been cleaned." — source Hostelworld
"Toilets never seemed clean (floors etc) and the only place to clean teeth was in the tiny sinks in the toilets." — source Hostelworld
-
"Excellent showers Be mindful of the stairs All girls rooms were quiet, was happy with that Nice friendly staff Food at belushis looked awesome, breakfast was extremely basic but free is free Gave us a discount because we had been at another st." — source Hostelworld
"Very friendly staff the Irish girl on reception was friendly and very helpful ( she had the most gourgeous green eyes ) and the reception is a bar to, way cool, lots of drink specials on offer too." — source Hostelworld

"The staff were really friendly, and helpfull, the location was excellent but the price of just under 60 per night for a hostel room, i expected more than a tiny rabbit hutch, and i banged my head twice on the sloping ceiling due to lack of room, you literally could not swing a cat in it." — source Hostelworld
"Great for young people as it is in a fantastic location - especially for the Fringe Festival, literally a 2 minute walk from the royal mile and right outside Waverly train station." — source Hostelworld
"The location of this place makes it a must-stay. Its located right in the heart of downtown and easy walking distance to most attractions." — source Hostelworld
"having a bar on-site is great, and the location (close to city center and incoming busses from the airport) is certainly an advantage." — source Hostelworld
"Fantastic location for the Festival, within walking distance of the Plesence, C, Traverse as well as the high street." — source Hostelworld
-
"HOWEVER, compared to other hostels, who charge even more, St Christophers is excellent value in terms of location." — source Hostelworld
"But otherwise a nice place to stay, great value for the low price, and very friendly & helpful staff." — source Hostelworld
"I think as hostels go it's a very good deal but I am over 40 and need my sleep ( ah to be young again." — source Hostelworld
"as we were that bit older we felt a bit out but the location and price made up for that." — source Hostelworld
"good price, nice staff and excelent location in the centre of edinburgh." — source Hostelworld
