Kulaniapia is a large parcel, 22 acres and features our 120-ft. waterfall which is viewable from almost every corner of our inn. We are perched at a cool 850 feet above Hilo with panoramic ocean and waterfall views. We have over 2 miles of walking trails that wind along the powerful Waiau River, a 2-acre botanical garden with a 3-tiered waterfall. All baths are private and entirely finished in Italian marble. Come to the hospitality of the Inn at Kulaniapia, built exclusively as a Hawaiian bed & breakfast with resort amenities.

Located less than 10 minutes from downtown Hilo, at 850ft elevation..we are within a 2000 acre Macadamia Nut Orchard. Closest neighbor is 2 miles away. Quiet country living..pheasant, Hawaiian Hawk, owl and wild pig are a common sight.
