For this reason we recommend families and people of mature age to book with Sant Jordi Sagrada Familia. Keeping this in mind, we welcome all who find that this atmosphere suits their needs. We also request that groups larger than six email us with more details, allowing us to better accommodate you.*******Sant Jordi Diagonal is located in the heart of Barcelona, on one of the longest and best known streets of the city, avenida Diagonal. The building has an attractive old-style design, modernist, very spanish. We are just a 12 minute walk from Catalunya Square and Las Ramblas and only one block from one of the main metro stations. Aside from that, we are walking distance from many of Barcelona's main attractions, like Sagrada Familia church, La Pedrera and Casa Batllo, all of which were designed by Gaudi.The hostel has a friendly and informal atmosphere: We have a fully-equipped kitchen that you can use anytime, nice dining area, and a comfortable living room with a huge TV, DVDs, games and books. We also have four computers providing free 24-hr high-speed internet access. The bedrooms are varying in size from 2 to 8 beds each. They all have good-sized bunk beds and SHEETS, PILLOWCASES, BLANKETS and LOCKERS are INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. Laundry facilities and towels are also available at a low cost.Our young and friendly staff is happy to provide you with maps and tourist information about Barcelona - sightseeing, transport, restaurants, nightlife, etc. ***CHECK -IN INFORMATION - VERY IMPORTANT!***RECEPTION opens from 08:30 a.m. to 02:00 a.m., from Monday to Sunday. CHECK-OUT 12:00 IF YOUR ARRIVAL TIME IS AFTER HOURS OR YOU ARE CHANGING THE TIME THAT IS ON YOUR RESERVATION SHEET, PLEASE REMEMBER TO E-MAIL OR CALL US TO LET US KNOW. We will really appreciate if you could look at your reservation sheet and check your arrival time. Make sure it's correct, otherwise please contact us.Be aware that the booking system uses the 24 hr-clock.***CANCELLATION POLICY***Remember that cancellations are accepted only by e-mail at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival time. Directions
The street is AVENIDA DIAGONAL, 436. Floor Entresuelo 1'. The nearest metro station is DIAGONAL, on line 5 (blue) and also line 3 (green), just two blocks from the hostel and just one block from Paseo de Gracia Avenue.- If you are coming from GIRONA AIRPORT: Take the Barcelona Bus from the airport to Barcelona Nord Bus Station (final destination). Once there you can either take a taxi to the hostel (which won't be expensive becasue it's not to far) or catch the metro L1 (red). 'Arc de Triomf' is the station just in front of the bus station. From 'Catalunya' station transfer to the line 3 (green) to 'Diagonal' metro station, where you can exit and walk to the obelisc standing in the middle of the avenue. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!- If coming from EL PRAT AIRPORT (BCN Airport):Take the Aerobus from the airport to Plaza Catalunya. Once in Plaza Catalunya catch the metro line 3 (green) to 'Diagonal' metro station. From 'Diagonal' walk up to the obelisc standing in the Passeig de Gr'cia and Diagonal avenue. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!- If coming from SANTS-ESTACI' Train Station:Very easy! Just catch the metro line 5 (blue) straight to 'Diagonal' metro station. From 'Diagonal' walk up to the obelisc standing in the Passeig de Gr'cia and Diagonal avenue. Turn right on Diagonal Avenue, walk one block and look for number 436. You need to cross to the opposite side of the street!
