More information on New Sheridan Hotel
The pride of Telluride when it was built in 1895, the New Sheridan reached the peak of its fame in 1902 when presidential candidate William Jennings Bryan delivered a speech from a platform outside. Completely renovated in 1995, the decor of this delightful historic hotel, located a few blocks from the slopes, still proclaims its Victorian heritage while introducing the comforts of the modern age. Rollaways or day beds are available; some units have whirlpool tubs. The suites, in a separate building, are condominium-style units, with a full kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. The Sheridan lounge, with an Austrian-made cherrywood bar, is on the hotel's first floor. Smoking is not permitted.
