From Verona Airport (VRN): Distance to Hotel Gabbia D'Oro is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive. Getting there. Buses run between the airport and Verona train station (via the conference centre) every 20 minutes. The train station is 1.5 kilometres from the hotel. Single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. Taxis to Hotel Gabbia D'Oro cost approximately 20 EUR. Prices are subject to change. Getting around. Verona's historical city centre is pedestrianised and closed to traffic. Orange buses run throughout the city, and tickets are available from newsagents or tobacconists and should be validated on boarding. Buses run between the train station and Lake Garda, Venice, and Milan. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. Driving directions. Depart Verona Airport. Follow the signs marked city centre and Arena. Turn left into Stradone Scipione Maffei. Turn into the third street on the left hand side into via Malenza. Continue along the road for approximately 1 kilometre. Turn right into Corso Porta Borsari to the Hotel Gabbia D'Oro.
