The Highlander Hostel is a new hostel in the heart of the city, its a fun place to be, with all the high street shops just outside the main door. We have 104 beds on 4,6,8,10,12,14 and 16 bed dorm rooms, with most with ensuite facilities. We have a fully equiped kitchen, and lots of showers and a large common room, with pool table, fuzz ball table, Plasma Tv and internet. we are open 24/7 365 days. If you are looking to have a great time, this is the hostel to be in.Is the linen included?All the bed linen is provided for the hostel and is already included in the price. We also hire towels for a pound at reception if you have forgotten to bring one. Where can I park my car?Unfortunately the hostel has no on-site parking facilities. But there is a public car parks near the hostel.Does the hostel have a curfew?The hostel has 24 hours access, you will be issued with a set of codes for your room and the front entrance when you check-in. IMPORTANT NOTE: You must check-in to the hostel during reception hours (9:00am - 11:00pm) to get the codes to your room and the front entrance door. Late check-in is possible by appointment only! When can I check in?Reception opens at 9:00am and closes at 11:00pm daily. Typically you can check-in from 11am (This gives the previous nights guests time to check out) What happens if I am late to check in?If your arriving to Inverness late in the evening and your transport gets delay please give us a call if you don't think you will be able to arrive before 11:00 pm and the receptionist on duty will wait for you. IMPORTANT NOTE: If no arrangement has been made for late check-in then Reception will be closed at 11pm.Does the hostel have an age limit?The hostel has no age limit however we ask that anyone under the age of 16 be accompanied by an adult.Can I leave my bicycle at the hostel?The hostel has a big stairway at the back that can only be accessed by the staff where you can leave your bicycles, but remember to bring a chain.Please note we operate a 48 hour cancellation.

High Street in Inverness.We are on the High Street in Inverness. The Highlander Hostel can be found in the heart of the city of Inverness. Bus station 10 min. walking.Railway station 8 min. walking. From the bus or train station turn left then walk straight up to Marks and Spencers, walk up towards The Bank Of Scotland, turn right and your on the High Street. Keep walking until you see MacDonalds and look above to the right, and we are there.
