Experience the sights and sounds of the neighborhood known for its murals, mosaics and paintings, while taking in the 360� view of downtown San Francisco from the city�s only roof top terrace. Our proximity to the BART and other transport makes getting around the city by the bay a breeze. Areas such as Dolores Park and Castro within walking distance of the hostel.We have created a brand new building from the ground up - with you in mind. We have a giant roof deck for sunbathing, lounging and more.(see the view in picture 2) Each floor has a lounge (free internet and multi-media) and downstairs we've built both a restaurant and an outdoor caf�.(Free continental breakfast!) From San Francisco Airport (SFO): BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). This clean, safe, and fast subway system will cost around $5.00 per person one way. Take the free AirTrain from the airport terminal to the airport BART station. Take any BART train and exit at 24th/Mission station. Medjool is located three blocks north on the left hand side of Mission Street between 22nd and 21st Street. The trip takes about 50 minutes. Door-to-Door Shuttle Van Services. There are many to choose from. Most cost around $10 - $18 per person one way. They'll bring you from the airport to our front door. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Taxi. Cabs cost about $35 one way for up to four people. The trip takes about 15 minutes. Driving. Take Highway 101 North to Cesar Chavez exit. Proceed on Cesar Chavez West. Turn right on South Van Ness (there is a Hollywood Video on the corner). Follow South Van Ness and make a left on 21st Street. Go two streets to Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street. Just after you turn onto Mission Street, you'll see our large yellow building on the right side of the street with a palm tree directly in front. Our address is 2524 Mission Street. Pull into the passenger zone, drop off your luggage, and we'll give you directions to the parking garage which is literally around the corner. The parking garage costs $1 an hour or $11.50 for 24 hours. The trip takes about 15-20 minutes. From Oakland Airport (OAK): BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). This clean, safe, and fast subway system will cost around $3.50 per person. Take the AirBart shuttle just outside baggage claim (there are signs to indicate pick up points) to BART. The AirBart bus ticket costs $2.00. Buy your BART ticket from the self-service ticket machines and take any Daly City, Milbrae or SFO train. Exit at 24th/ Mission station. Medjool is located three blocks north on the left hand side of Mission Street between 22nd and 21st Street. The trip takes about an hour. Door-to-Door Shuttle Van. There are many to choose from. Most cost around $25 - $35 per person one way. They'll bring you from the airport to our front door. The trip takes about 45 minutes. Taxi. Cabs cost about $75 one way for up to four people. The trip takes about 35 minutes. Driving Take Highway 880 North to Highway 80 West toward San Francisco/Bay Bridge. The toll is $3.00. Exact change is not needed at the toll booth. Cross the Bay Bridge into San Francisco. Merge onto Highway 101 South and exit at Cesar Chavez Street. When exiting, veer slightly to the right onto Cesar Chavez West. Stay on Cesar Chavez for several blocks. Turn right on South Van Ness (there is a Hollywood Video on the corner). Follow South Van Ness and make a left on 21st Street. Go two streets to Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street. The bus stops directly in front of us at 2524 Mission Street, in between 22nd and 21st Street. The trip takes about 20-25 minutes. BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit). This clean, safe, and fast subway system will cost $1.50 per person. The closest station is the Montgomery Street Station located at New Montgomery Street at Market. To get there, walk north one block on First Street to Market Street. Turn left on Market Street and walk two blocks until you see the BART sign. Walk downstairs into the BART station. Buy your BART ticket from the self-service ticket machines and take any Daly City, Milbrae or SFO train. Exit at 24th/ Mission station. Medjool is located three blocks north on the left hand side of Mission Street between 22nd and 21st Street. The trip takes about an hour. Taxi. A taxi will cost about $12 for up to 4 people. The trip takes about 15 minutes. From the AMTRAK train station in Emeryville: Take the free shuttle bus to San Francisco and get off at the Union Square Stop located at 835 Market Street. The closest station is the Powell Street Station located on Market Street. Walk downstairs into the BART station.
