Kumamoto is a major city on Kyushu's west coast, it's famous for its castle, which is one of Japan's largest. (0808YY) This is a modern white concrete 10-storey building, and there is a signboard of the hotel name in English on the side of the building. The hotel is located in Kumamoto City. It takes about 1 hour and 40 minutes from Tokyo and 1 hour and 5 minutes from Osaka by airplane. Limited express trains run between Hakata and Kumamoto, approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes each way.It is approximately 5 minutes drive from JR Kumamoto Station by taxi, and a few minutes walk from nearest tram station.
