More information on Whitewater

The health club - which is free for all residents - offers a large pool (recently refurbished and tiled), sauna and gymnasium, as well as a varied health and beauty treatment menu. This is a lovely hotel tucked away minutes from the foot of Lake Windermere. (03/2008 GW) It's stone and slate construction is a characteristic of the Lake District, although at five storey high its something of a rarity in the region. The Hotel is connected to the Leisure club via a bridge between the two buildings as they are situated on opposite sides of the road. The hotel is situated in the small village of Lakeland. Aptly named as its right on top of a natural drop in the River Leven, which runs past the front of the hotel.

A destroyed gun placement.
The attempts to destroy the counter attack weapons were not completely successful. On D-Day, after already losing men to reach this destination, they found that the guns there were fake. Frustrated, they were still able to recover the location of the real guns and destroy them. 560cc2c7e328e47b321e184743f01ffc On Juno Beach: one of the first buildings liberated by the Canadians... often this house is depicted in movies when they show the beaches. 818e63c987ab1f160501009367a621e6
