The hotel is a converted military building that dates back to 1872, and has retained many of the original features, giving a very traditional style and atmosphere. Guests may also take advantage of the recently built health centre with sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gymnasium.(06/07rt) The three-story elevation is finished in red brick, with large windows and balconies. Located just a 10-minute walk from the Town Centre. The hotel commands spectacular views over Cork City, inner harbour and the River Lee.
