Each Parish Church celebrates its Patron Saint feast in a dedicated weekend in the summertime. They are enjoyable evenings where you can see the fireworks display on Saturday and the procession on Sunday. They are also a great opportunity to sample some Maltese food. All churches would be duly decorated for the feast. The sea is an integral part of the history. It still colours any visit to the Islands. It is sensuous in summer and restless in winter, and always great to be by, in or on.
