The Chancellor Hotel on Union Square is a charming, 137-room smoke-free hotel located in the heart of San Francisco. Since 1914, the Chancellor has seen many improvements but one thing has not changed, it is still a classic boutique hotel serving guests who want to be surrounded by world class shopping, restaurants, and theater at a good value.Hotel amenities include Luques Restaurant and Bar, complimentary use of a nearby health club, and complimentary coffee, tea, and cookies in the lobby 24 hours. A workstation with high-speed Internet access is available in the lobby for guest use, and complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and guestrooms. Guest rooms feature clock radios, desks, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, cable TV, pay-per-view movies, voicemail, multi-line phones, free local calls, umbrellas, spa services (fee), 12-pillow menus, ceiling fans, deep bathtubs, and individual room heat controls (no air-conditioning). Extra person charge is $15 per day.
