  • Overall: Rating of 3.6 out of 5

"With the exception of one cleaning lady (who was wonderful) the hotel staff could not care less and would do nothing to help us." source Travelocity

"Altogether, these people are terrible at running a hotel, and I would recommend staying away from it." source Travelocity

"Overall, the property was fine but it could use a minor facelift (new carpet, paint, etc." source Travelocity

"Overall I was very disappointed for a resort that should and could have been grand." source Travelocity

"The Bahir Mar was a great hotel, great location and had everything we needed." source Travelocity

  • Clean: Rating of 3.9 out of 5

"The skywalk to the beach is easy, the walk to A1A just several blocks, the onsite deli cheap and convenient, the room was clean, the beds and linens were soft and comfortable." source Travelocity

"clean, modern, great service, location to the beach and nightlife were perfect, the beds and pillows were better than mine at home for comfort." source Travelocity

"There was a patch of filth behind the bathroom door and the carpets were so filthly that you could not walk barefoot for two minutes without cleaning your feet with soap and water." source Expedia

"The rooms are clean but all the reviews regarding it being outdated are correct." source Expedia

"The beaches weren't as clean, the pool was great and the security with the gate to the beach and pool was nice." source Travelocity

  • Service: Rating of 3.7 out of 5

"The hotel has a deli, Hertz car rental service, gym, pool, and a bridge that takes you right to the beach." source Travelocity

"The hotel room service was prompt and the food quality was very good and quite reasonably priced." source Travelocity

"The service was OK, but I don't think I'd want to work either in this atmosphere." source Travelocity

"I have never seen such filth or encountered a less helpful staff." source Travelocity

"The hotel was very clean and the service was uniformly excellent." source Travelocity

  • Location: Rating of 4.5 out of 5

"Good location for my husbands diving tours, but luckily (for me) the weather didn't comply a couple of days and we got to hang out together." source Orbitz

"there was hair all around the bathroom floors, the towel bar was about to fall off the wall, the a/c unit was in need of major repair (it sounded like a generator running in our room all night long) and the whole property- unfortunately (because the location is great) is a very lost cause." source Travelocity

"This hotel was great minutes away from downtown across the street from a beautiful beach and right on a stunning marina." source Expedia

"LOVE the location, with the beach so close, great pool bar, with great food and live music on Saturday afternoon, and the views." source Orbitz

"I accepted the higher than average price for the location and the view, having to pay for in-room internet and for parking as a guest were annoyances on top of higher than average meal prices." source Travelocity

  • Value: Rating of 3.5 out of 5

"\nThe hotel says it offers self parking at a price less than valet, but we were forced to use valet and the hotel charged us the full rate." source Travelocity

"For the price we paid it was great though." source Expedia

"I was able to get such a good deal from Travelocity for a hotel and flight, that I kind of expected a cheap hotel." source Travelocity

"Although the hotel is older and shows a little 'wear & tear' it is a great value for what they offer." source Travelocity

"Compared to other hotels on Fort Lauderdale Beach, the Bahia Mar is reasonably priced." source Travelocity
