An excellent cosy property in this charming town branded the oldest town in Denmark. Esbjerg is 30 minutes away and Kolding about 60 minutes drive. (10/06 LC) The hotel is Denmark's oldest hotel in Denmark's oldest town. It is an old red brick building (built in 1582) among other beautifully preserved, ancient buildings. Over the years it has been carefully restored with respect for the old building and its genuine atmosphere. Hotel Dagmar is situated on the main square in Ribe, right opposite the 900-year old cathedral with new decorations by the Danish artist Carl-Henning Pedersen. The Viking museum, Wadden Sea Centre & Monastery are all within walking distance of the hotel.
