HOTEL RESTAURANT MERKELBACH

The Hotel Restaurant Merkelbach is a comfortable middle-class hotel situated at the bank of the river Rhine within the World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley. It is located in the quarter of Pfaffendorf, only two kilometers away from the city centre of Koblenz. Our 14 guest rooms were renovated in 2004 and are equipped with shower, WC, hairdryer, telephone, cable TV and wireless Internet access. There are also rooms with a large balcony to the river Rhine available. Cyclists and hikers are most welcome in our restaurant and hotel! We keep your bikes in safe and dry custody. Beautiful hiking trails e.g. Rheinsteig and cycling routes surround our house. There is also a shipping pier at Hotel Merkelbach. From spring until autumn, there are ships leaving for castle trips on the rivers Rhine and Moselle. The Restaurant Merkelbach is open from Wednesday to Sunday. Let yourself be spoiled by our excellent kitchen and enjoy regional and international specialties in a cosy ambiance. A variety of wines and German draft beers invite to while-away.
