Small,friendly hostel on the way to Ireland, near Saint Davids, suitable for single travellers or groups,& families. the hostel has been recently renovated and divided into two seperate houses. Hamilton House (no 21)1 small double ,One four foot bed 1quad family room (double bed with bunk above and bunk)1 three bed dorm room (one bunk and one single bed)Self catering kitchen with diner and seperate loungesecond house No 23)double ensuite (five foot bed) Family room with double bed (four foot six double bed) and bunksFour bed dorm room (two sets of bunks)Kitchen with diner , Reading lounge and tv. lounge.Patio outside kitchen with tables leading to a garden with hammockswifi in both housesThere is a light breakfast of tea, coffee, toast and jams in a self catered kitchen.Festivals in fishguardThere is a Folk festival from the 22 May to 25 MayLATE ARRIVALS Anyone booking any beds or rooms arriving after eight in the evening must call the hostel before and pay the outstanding money.. For arrivals on the late ferry it is necessary to telephone a couple of days in advance to arrange payment by phone.

By Car - A487 From the East (Cardigan) Come up the hill then left to Hamilton St. 2 hours from Cardiff (M4->A48->A40) A40 From the South (Haverford West) or West (St. Davids) come into Town Hall Square then right to Hamilton St. Next pass the hostel and take the first right into the free public carparkBy Train - There are direct trains to the ferry, but for more convenient services take a train to Haverford West and change to the 412 bus (runs hourly) www.thetrainline.com National Rail Enquires tel 0845 748 4950 By Bus - Same as above get to Haverford West or Cardigan and change to the 412 (phone Richard Bros (01239) 613756). You can get here for Less than �10 with Megabus and National Express Fares �1 fares from London to Swansea. Change to bus or train there. By Rideshare - See one of the sites on the net like liftshare.com . Hitching is easy near here. By Foot - Right on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, a day East from Pwth Deri or a day West from Newport. From the Town Hall Square go East then first right to Hamilton St. By Bicyle - We are at the beginning of the Celtic cycle Route (47) see www.sustrans.org.uk, Cycle map, more mapping To/From Heathrow Airport - No need to change in London. Take the Nat Ex service to Cardiff (about 3.5 hours) (also has airport). Then change to bus or train. Follow bus/train intructions. To/From the Ferry Stena Ferries websiteBy Car - Follow the road up the hill to the traffic circle then turn left and follow the road to the Town Hall Square. Walking - walk out of the dock and along the sea path after 300m walk up the steps, then continue into the Town Hall Square. Take the first left and then first right to Hamilton St. By Bus - Service 310 usually every 30 minutes.It is about 2 miles. Some buses will go direct to meet the ferry, but usually you have to walk out of the dock and pick up the bus in front of the TOTAL Garage. there are no busses at night.It is not advisable to walk at night as it is very dark.Stena Ferries websiteBy Car - Follow the road up the hill to the traffic circle then turn left and follow the road to the Town Hall Square.
