The hotel Italia, a recently renovated modern building, is situated in Siena, a short distance from Porta Camollia, the traditional entrance to the medieval town. Siena is nestled amongst wonderful rolling hills, and it is world famous due to its artistic and architectural jewels of the medioeval city centre, which has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. The hotel lies near many bars and typical restaurants, where guests can taste the delicious tuscan specialities accompanied by the internationally renowned local wines: Chianti classico, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Brunello di Montalcino or Vernaccia di San Gimignano Residents may make use of the tennis court and the swimming pool of the Hotel Garden. Directions
From Florence Vespucci Airport: Approximate distance to the hotel is 60 kilometers. Follow the sign to the A1 toward Rome and exit Firenze Certosa. Take the Siena Firenze road and exit Siena Nord. Follow the directions for the town center (Porta Camollia). Hotel Italia is located on the right. Taxis are available at the airport. Shuttle services runs to Florence train station. From Florence, trains run to Siena, just one kilometer from the hotel. A bus stop is 30 meters from the hotel.
