From Malta International Airport (MLA): Distance to Primera Hotel is 22 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive. Getting there. Fixed rate taxis run between the airport and towns across the island. Fares are approximately 12 MTL to the hotel. Pre paid tickets can be purchased from the taxi desk at Arrivals. Bus number 8 runs between the airport and Valletta's main bus terminus every 20 minutes, from where regular bus services run to Bugibba. Prices are all subject to change. Getting around. A network of buses connects Malta to the main resorts. A day bus pass costs 1.50 MTL. A car is recommended for exploring further afield. High speed catamarans and ferries operate between Gozo and Malta (Valletta). Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs for Gozo. Head for Marsa/St Julian's/St Andrew's along the coast road towards Bugibba. Turn right at the traffic lights and continue along Pioneer Road, at the bottom of which is the Primera Hotel.
