Roman columns with visigothic cornices have been used to build the cloister of the convent which was founded in the XVIIIth century on the remains of a Roman temple and converted in 1933, the decoration is governed by Roman motifs. In the heart of the city, this parador occupies an old convent of baroque style, preserving many of its ancient elements.
