From Hannover Airport (HAJ): Distance to the Waldhotel Am Islestein is 110 kilometres, approximately 90 minutes' drive. Getting there. The S Bahn's line 5 runs between the airport's train station and Hannover central station. Trains depart every 30 minutes between 5 a.m. and midnight. The journey takes approximately 15 20 minutes, and single tickets cost 2.40 EUR. Trains operate from here to Ilsenburg station, 3 kilometres from the hotel. Price is subject to change. Getting around. The best way to see the surrounding area is by car. Driving directions. From the airport, take Highway 7 and exit for Rhueden. Take Route 82 to Goslar. Take Route 6 to Ilsenburg. Once in Ilsenburg, follow signs for the hotel.
