Great spot for a getaway. White sand beach is 14km long. VU0106 Rooms are nestled in the rainforest and linked by elevated timber boardwalks amongst the trees and foliage. Mission Beach is almost half way between Townsville and Cairns in tropical North Queensland - just 1.5 hours easy drive south of Cairns and 2.5 hours north of Townsville. Perched high on the point above Mission Beach, amid the rainforest with views of white sandy beaches, Dunk & The Family Group of islands and the Great Barrier Reef. In the area there is snorkelling, fishing, sailing, water skiing, jet skis, golf, tennis, rainforest walks, white water rafting. Coaches run from Cairns into Mission Beach three times a day.

From Cairns International Airport:Approximate driving time is 2 hours and 30 minutes and distance is 123 miles / 197 kilometers.Driving directions from CNS International Airport:Take Hwy 1 S to the Mission Beach turnoff. Proceed for approximately 20 minutes to the S Mission Beach turnoff. Follow the Esplanade and turn right at Jackie St and left onto Mitchell St. Proceed up the hill to the hotel.
