  • Overall: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"I completely recommend Olympus Tours for air transfers and excursion - we did the Catamaran to Isla Mujeres - it was absolutely amazing - it was a perfect day of sun and snorkeling, and the tour guides were great." source Travelocity

"I wouldn't recommend staying here with your family or if you have kids during the spring break time, its just a bunch of crazy teens and college students looking for a good time." source Travelocity

"For families with little ones I will recommend the Oasis Viva , the ocean is like a pool, very quiet, at the Oasis Cancun the waves were stronger, more for teens and adults." source Travelocity

"The rest of the food is OK but i would recommend eating at restaurants every once in awhile so you can actually enjoy a meal." source Travelocity

"I would recommend this place to anyone who likes to have fun and isn't turned off by younger crowds and a little noise." source Travelocity

  • Clean: Rating of 3.4 out of 5

"no air conditioning in the room in the middle of July, are cable TV was 3 channels that were not clear, no mini bar, had to ask the cleaning staff for more towels, no clock so if u stay there bring your own, could hear everything at night, and the staff was really really really slow and did not care about anything." source Travelocity

"On our 2nd night the toilet flooded and it took over 1-1/2 hours to get someone to repair it (after 3 trips down the stairs to the front desk and 2 phone calls) and then an additional 2 hours and several requests before the mess was cleaned up (close to midnight." source Travelocity

"We observed the staff steaming table clothes, buffing the pool deck at night, and continuously cleaning the property- inside and out. Every night when we returned from dinner our room had been cleaned, soft classic music playing on the tv, and fresh beverages at the bedside." source Expedia

"It starts with the young ladies cleaning the bathrooms, the smile you meet as you walk through the door and as you leave." source Expedia

"I didn't enjoy the fact though that security over here wasn't well prepared to handle the situations that would occur also they should also try and keep those marvel floors clean and dried because I saw a lot of falling coming down those stairs." source Travelocity

  • Service: Rating of 3.3 out of 5

"The service the food, hotel it was all just a five star service." source Hotels.com

"The good points : Property gounds very clean, lobby area very clean, room service very clean, restaurants were good, some excellent, pool was nice and the beach nice. Where can we start with the bad : Rooms are small, Windows on balcony not sealed (wind noise all night), no iron or ironing board in room (room service did send one) no alarm clock in room, TV's are old 19" screens, the use of the safe is an extra charge, the staff appears to go out of there way to accomadate spanish speaking people but, seem to enjoy giving the rest of us wrong information, directions etc." source Travelocity

"This is the second time we book a palace resort in Cancun, we were very pleased and impressed with the service, cordiality and the enviroment of this place." source Expedia

"Service was terrible, most of the food was terrible, beach bars, terrible ,other bars, the steak house and mexican resturants were ok but the waiting time was long,it is a beautiful resort, but managed very bad, will be back to cancun but not at a oasis resort." source Travelocity

"It was clean, the food was actually good (especially by Mexican standards), and the service was superb." source Expedia

  • Location: Rating of 4.0 out of 5

"The Hotel does not have air conditioning in the lobby and the lobby area bathrooms is bad - so know get into the room they do have air conditioning but its water base and the room is so humid the bed stinks and its impossible to avoid it every time we turned we wake up because of the smell it was bad." source Travelocity

"the staff was very rude, the bars on beach area could not mix drinks and the food in almost all restuarants was terrible ,our room had a bad odor when we got there so we got some spray room refreshner." source Travelocity

"One positive thing is the location. There was a bus stop right in front of the resort so we were able to get into Cancun downtown area easily." source Travelocity

"Next time i would pay more to get a better hotel closer to downtown where everything is so we don't have to get a taxi every time we want to go somewhere." source Travelocity

"My friends and I had a great time whenever we left the hotel and partied at the downtown clubs." source Travelocity

  • Value: Rating of 3.2 out of 5

"The all inclusive saved a good deal of money; the food was good." source Orbitz

"\nfor those of you who gave bad reviews, you shouldn stay at the Ritz Carlton, RIU or one of the Palaces and really make some owners rich----don't expect to get that kind of service and ambience for 1/4 the price." source Travelocity

"A wonderful vacation and a great value for all inclusives." source Expedia

"Bad points: bar staff were rude they tended to treat everyone like ""spring breakers"", The staff at the front desk were obivious to the guests needs(also very rude}, We got a very good deal on this trip,Hopefullly this resort will be aware in the future that many guests are not fluent in Spanish and will not show obvious ""better"" treatment to those who are." source Travelocity

"no fitness room, no kiddie pool, you have to rent tennis rackets and golf clubs ($55 for clubs and only once around the nine holes for that price) theme parties were additional charge and the drinks were tastless." source Travelocity
