Locanda la Bandita

Albergo La Bandita is a farmhouse, which was built, in the early 1800. Bandita means an area in which hunting, fishing and the grazing of cattle is prohibited. It is therefore a natural reserve. Family comes from this area and has lived here since 1975. Since 1988 Albergo La Bandita have been offering their guests the possibility of a peaceful and relaxing stay in one of the most beautiful areas of the Tuscany countryside: the Val di Chiana. The atmosphere at the bandita (inn) is a familiar and relaxing one and hotel try to make their guests feel at home. Dining RoomThe dining room is situated in a part of the old cattle-shed of the old building and has a pleasant atmosphere, characterized by a large fireplace and few tables. This room looks out onto the internal courtyard of the estate and in the summer it is possible for guests to eat and enjoy the restaurant outside. The Locanda kitchen offers a menu, which is based on seasonal, and locally grown produce, such as the "Chianina" beef, the Cinta senese (pork), extra virgin olive oil and local sheep cheese (consumed with a glass of Verduzzo dolce Dulcedo wine). All served with herbs and fresh vegetables from our vegetable garden. The wine list however offers a large selection of great red Tuscany wines.
