Maynooth Campus Conference & Accommodation is a mixture of modern student apartments and traditional rooms on the university campus at Maynooth, west of Dublin city. The student apartments are self-catering. 555 of the 900 rooms are en-suite. Most are single rooms, though a limited number of twin rooms are available. Traditional rooms all have wash-hand basins, with shared access to toilet and shower facilities. Rooms are a mixture of singles and twins. There are also a small number of deluxe en-suite rooms.Maynooth is a lively university town of some historical interest. At the gates of the college stands the Geraldine Castle, once the seat of power in Ireland. The tree-lined main street links the entrance to the college with Carton walk and the great Carton demesne. The town also has an excellent range of restaurants, pubs and shops.On the campus visitors can enjoy fine Georgian and neo-Gothic architecture, as well as the magnificent College Chapel. There are also splendid walks amongst the extensive grounds. And all within easy reach of the attractions of Dublin city, as well as tourist attractions such as Newgrange and Glendalough. Maynooth is an ideal base from which to explore the historical treasures of Leinster.

Directions

Maynooth is located 24km west of Dublin on the M4.By rail it takes between 30 and 50 minutes (depending on whether the connection is express or commuter). Rail service is from Connolly station in Dublin, with some commuter connections from Pearse Street station. By bus, the journey takes a minimum of 45 minutes, but times depend on traffic in the city. The most direct service is the #66 bus from Pearse Street in Dublin, though the #67A also serves Maynooth (but takes a longer route).If travelling from Dublin airport, there are three options:1. Taxi2. Bus - to city centre, connect with #66 or #67A3. Rail - feeder bus to Howth Junction - DART (commuter rail service) to Connolly - Arrow or Express service to Maynooth.
