Set against the red-rock buttes, Amara Creekside Resort is a short walk from the banks of Oak Creek, a block from Uptown Sedona's shopping and restaurants, and approximately 125 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. This location is also one block from the Sedona Arts Center, one mile from the Tlaquepaque Arts and Crafts Village, five miles from the Sedona Racquet Club, seven miles from the Sedona Golf Resort and Red Rock State Park, 80 miles from the Grand Canyon, and 120 miles from Phoenix. Hotel amenities include the saltwater swimming pool (in a garden setting), exercise room, Jacuzzi, spa treatment room, and Gallery on Oak Creek, a terrace dining area with views of the Sedona Red Rocks, a fire pit, and an interior bar with fine wines. The hotel also offers room service, in-room massage, 24-hour complimentary computer access, free weekday newspapers, concierge assistance, complimentary valet parking, and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the resort. All rooms feature private balconies or terraces, DVD players (complimentary DVD rentals at the front desk), complimentary high-speed Internet access, complimentary coffee and tea, Aveda bath products, pillowtop mattresses, two robes, 240 thread-count linens, minibars, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, free local calls, and two phones with voicemail and dataports. A $20.00 Service Fee per night is charged when making a reservation. From Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport: Take I 10 West to I 17 North towards Flagstaff. Travel approximately 100 miles to Exit #298. At the stop sign turn left (north) on AZ 179. Go down 5 6 miles to Village of Oak Creek. Go through three lights until AZ 179 ends. Turn right on 89A (north) to Uptown area. After 3rd light turn right and keep straight.
