"Stayed at GVR 3 days Dec 21-24, very nice accomadation about 6 miles from the strip, with a cinema and shopping district at the Hotel casino entrance, even though th 5 star resorts on the strip are nice also this type of setting is much more relxing than being traped in a mega resort, the restuarnts and the buffet have some the highest ratings, and is located in a nice upscale part of vegas off highway 215, This is one of the finest resorts i have ever stayed and was a bargain." — source Travelocity
