  • Clean: Rating of 4.7 out of 5

"Gorgeous hostel, really pretty courtyard, which is nice for socialising in, the dorm is so new, you can still smell the pine from the bunk beds, the shower area is brand new too and looks like something out of a posh hotel, not a hostel, staff are more than willing to help / get to know you." source Hostelworld

"The showers were very clean (although there was a bit of difficulty with hot water -- but maybe there was a way to turn it on that I didn't know about." source Hostelworld

"Very clean, lovely bathrooms, a beautiful backyard with lots of flowers and nice and helpfull staff." source Hostelworld

"Great location, excellent value, food is okay, rooms are nice, very clean with friendly staff." source Hostelworld

"beautiful place, with very helpful staff." source Hostelworld

  • Location: Rating of 4.6 out of 5

"Walking distance is just acceptable as it takes more than 15 mins to walk home everyday from the metro station, it makes travelers feeling quite tired especially after a whole day trip." source Hostelworld

"This is an excellent hostel, with an unparallelled location right in the heart of Beijing; a five minute walk from the Forbidden City, and steps from old hutongs and fine restaurants." source Hostelworld

"The location is convenient: in a nice hutong area close to Tiananmen, Wangfujing, Forbidden City and not too far from the subway." source Hostelworld

"Wondeful place to stay and walking distance to the subway so its really convenient, down the raod from everything else you need." source Hostelworld

"This was a very nice and comfortable hostel located right next to the forbidden city, close to wanfujing street and Beihai park." source Hostelworld

  • Value

"Clean and decent room at a reasonable price." source Hostelworld

"So good value for the price." source Hostelworld

  • Room

"I was a bit upset to discover when arrived 5 hours later than I said I would due to a delayed flight (I arrived at 4 instead of 11) they had already given my room to someone else but thankfully they still had one spare." source Hostelworld

"The double room we stayed in was a bit crowded, with not much room for much besides ourselves (although we were traveling with a bit too much of luggage, and other rooms did seem to be larger)." source Hostelworld

"I only had a problem with the size of the room. The room, which had two bunks, could barely fit one person and their bag inside let alone two." source Hostelworld

"I was in the 12 room dorm and my major complaint about was the ensuite bathroom Ensuite does not work for a 12 person dorm." source Hostelworld

"The dorm rooms are a bit small but the rest of the place more than makes up for that." source Hostelworld
