With an incredible mile-long avenue of lime tress dominating the view from the hotel s gourmet restaurant, Lainston House Hotel is warm and inviting and a welcome antidote to city life.All of the 50 rooms and suites are individually styled and designed so that no two are the same; while a pillow menu and calming lavender balm ensures that you get a good night s sleep. Lainston House Hotel is a charming 17th Century country house standing elegantly in 63 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland. Nevertheless it takes only 5 minutes to get to Winchester City centre, bus station and train station. We are 8 minutes from the start of the A34 and Junction 9 of the M3. We are 1 hours drive from London and just under an hours drive from Oxford. To get into Southampton City centre, docks or airport we are just a 15 minute drive along the M3.
