With views of the Duomo Cathedral's spires, Hotel de la Ville is within walking distance of the La Scala Opera House and Via Montenapoleone shopping and approximately 20 miles from Linate Airport. Hotel amenities include the indoor swimming pool, hydromassage Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, exercise room, Visconteo (bar and lounge), Oyster Bar, and L'Opera (a Mediterranean restaurant that remains open for after-theater diners). The hotel also offers room service, a concierge, free weekday newspapers, a business center, 24-hour front desk service, and a parking garage. Small pets are welcome (fee may apply). All rooms feature cherry wainscoting, English fabrics, Italian marble bathrooms, satellite and pay TV, minibars, safes, dataports, direct-dial telephones, and individual climate control.

Directions
Buses run every half hour from the airport to Santa Maria Novella Station, which is 700 metres from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs approximately 20 EUR. Driving directions: From the airport take highway A11 and exit onto the A1 in the direction of Rome. From the A1 exit at Firenze Certosa and follow signs to the city centre. On reaching Porta Romana, take Via Romana Via Maggio across the Santa Trinita Bridge. Continue on Via Tornabuoni until Piazza Antinori.
